Cat RunTerms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the Cat Run game for iPhone, iPad and Android (the "App"), made by Nguyen Van Long ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If the App is used by a minor, the parent or guardian who allowed it accepts these Terms on their behalf.
If you downloaded the App from the App Store, these Terms work together with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"), and if anything here conflicts with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA applies. If you downloaded it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.
1. License
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on devices that you own or control, as allowed by the rules of the store you downloaded it from. You may not copy, modify, resell or redistribute the App or its content, or try to extract its source code or assets.
2. Fish, catnip and in-app purchases
- The App has two in-game currencies. Fish are earned by playing and from missions. Catnip is sold in packs through in-app purchase, and a small amount is also earned from some missions, the daily mission bonus and optional reward videos.
- Fish buy fur colours, fish skins, power-up upgrades and revives. Catnip unlocks cats and can be exchanged for fish at 1 catnip = 10 fish. Fish cannot be exchanged back into catnip.
- Catnip packs are consumable, one-time purchases, not subscriptions, and are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Prices are shown in the App before you buy.
- No Ads is a one-time, non-consumable purchase. It turns off the full-screen ads between runs; rewarded videos stay available if you choose to watch them. No Ads can be restored on other devices using the same Apple ID or Google account with "Restore purchases" in the App.
- Catnip and fish are stored only on your device. They cannot be restored if the App is deleted or the device is lost, and they cannot be moved to another device.
- "Reset progress" in Settings erases fish, upgrades, skins, missions and records, but keeps catnip you bought, cats you unlocked and No Ads.
- Fish, catnip and items unlocked with them are a limited license to use content in the App. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged outside the App.
- Refunds are handled by the store. For the App Store, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com; for Google Play, see Google Play's refund policy.
3. Content and internet
Most cats are downloaded from our server, so an internet connection is needed the first time a cat is shown or played. We may add, change or remove cats, items and features over time. If a cat you unlocked with catnip can no longer be offered, we will do our best to keep it playable on devices that have already downloaded it.
4. Ads
The App is free and shows ads provided by third parties through Unity LevelPlay. Rewarded videos are optional: the reward (such as a free escape, double fish or free catnip) is given only when the video is watched to the end and the ad network reports it, and free catnip from videos is limited per day. Ads may not always be available. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the products they promote. See the Privacy Policy for the information ad partners collect.
5. Acceptable use
Please don't misuse the App, for example by interfering with its operation, modifying it or its save data to obtain fish or catnip, attempting to bypass purchases or ads, faking ad rewards, or using automated means to download its content.
6. Parody
Cat Run is a cartoon parody game. The police chase, "wanted" levels and "bribing your way out" are part of the joke and are not an endorsement of evading the police in real life.
7. Privacy
We do not collect personal information; ad partners collect some device information as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties beyond those required by the store you downloaded the App from, and we are not responsible for loss of progress or currency, for example if the App or device data is deleted.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for in-app purchases in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

11. Changes
We may update these Terms. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the new Terms.
